  Sh. Babulal Data

  Chairman

  Babulal Data and his family opened the Group’s first mustard oil plant at Khairthal in 1978 — the business from which everything else follows. As Chairman he sets the Group’s direction and strategy, with fifty years of trading behind it.

  His standing extends well beyond the Group. He is Chairman of the Central Organisation for Oil Industry and Trade, the national apex body for the sector, and President of the Mustard Oil Producers Association of India — the two bodies that speak for the industry in Delhi.

  He was elected unopposed as President of the Khairthal Vyapar Samiti and held the office for twenty-four years, from 1979 to 2003. He was awarded the Bhamashah Award by the Governor of Rajasthan in 2010.

  Dr. Ajay Data

  Managing Director

  As Managing Director, Ajay Data leads the Group across both of its businesses — day-to-day strategy, growth and brand for the edible oils division, alongside the technology arm he founded.

  Born in Khairthal in 1973 — the same town where the family began pressing mustard oil — he founded Data Infosys (now Data Ingenious Global Limited) in 1999, Rajasthan’s first private internet service provider.

  Beyond the Group he is a founder several times over — of TiE Rajasthan, of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation in Jaipur, and of the Data Security Council of India chapter there — and is widely sought out for mentoring and technology guidance.

  He holds an MBA in Computer Sciences and a PhD in Electronic Data Processing, and has spent two decades on a problem most of the industry ignored: making email addresses work in scripts other than Latin. He chaired the Universal Acceptance Steering Group from 2019 to 2023 — the first Asian to hold the role — and was the first Indian appointed to ICANN’s ccNSO Council in 2018.

  He is the author of Zenith: Mastering AI for Everyday Life and Work, published by Rupa Publications in 2025.

  Mr. Deepak Data

  Joint Managing Director

  Deepak Data leads the export of agricultural produce — de-oiled cake and other commodities — taking the output of the Group’s crushing operations into international markets. He collected the State Export Award from the Government of Rajasthan in 2022.

  He has established oil manufacturing plants in Sri Lanka, Bihar, Jaipur and Alwar, and has driven the operational growth of the edible oil business alongside the Group’s technology ventures.

  In 2020 he founded Videomeet Pvt. Ltd. with Dhruv Data — a made-in-India video conferencing company built for Indian networks and Indian users.

  Executive Director

  Dhruv Data is an Executive Director of the Group and, with Deepak Data, a founder of Videomeet Pvt. Ltd. — the Group’s video conferencing company, started in 2020.

  He received the Northern Region Export Excellence Award for Shree Hari Agro Industries alongside Deepak Data in December 2025.

• Rishab Data

  Executive Director

  Rishab Data joined the Group as an Executive Director, representing its third generation.

• Amol Data

  Third generation

  Amol Data is studying business at Northeastern University in the United States.

  The third of the family’s third generation, alongside Dhruv Data and Rishab Data, he is expected to join the business on his return — with new ideas and an appetite for expansion.
