Khairthal
Babulal Data and his family open the first mustard oil plant. He would go on to serve as President of the Khairthal Vyapar Samiti for twenty-four years, and to receive the Bhamashah Award from the Governor of Rajasthan.

Beyond the first plant
The family’s entrepreneurial run widens. Over the years that follow, the Group promotes businesses in solvent extraction, ceramics, packaged foods and housewares, including a venture in the United Kingdom.

Saurabh Agrotech is incorporated at the Old Industrial Area, Alwar, with Babulal Data and Ajay Data on its board, the Group’s move into modern large-scale refining.

Mansar Khedi
Shree Hari Agro Industries is incorporated. It becomes the Group’s flagship oils company and the maker of Ashoka: today sold through Reliance, Amazon, Flipkart and Udaan.

Ajay Data founds Data Infosys (now Data Ingenious Global Limited), Rajasthan’s first private internet service provider, and the beginning of the Group’s technology business.

Ritika Vegetable Oil is incorporated, adding capacity to the edible oil division.

The world
Dr. Ajay Data is elected Chairman of the Universal Acceptance Steering Group, the first Asian to hold the role, and is reappointed for a second term, serving until 2023. The work: making email addresses function in every script.
