Edible oils

Scooty

Scooty is a Data Group multi source edible oil — a blend of two or more edible oils to a declared ratio — made by Babulal Edible Oils Pvt. Ltd. at the Old Industrial Area in Alwar.

Multi source edible vegetable oil is the labelling term Indian food regulations use for a blend: two or more edible oils combined to a ratio that must be declared on the pack. It is a category built on consistency — the ratio has to hold from batch to batch, and the label has to match what is in the bottle.

Babulal Edible Oils is the Group’s only plant licensed for blended edible vegetable oils, at 200 tonnes a day, alongside expeller pressing and refining on the same site at Alwar. Blending in-house, from oil pressed and refined in-house, is what lets a ratio be held to specification rather than bought in and hoped for.
