XgenPlus
XgenPlus is Data Group's enterprise email platform: on-premise or cloud, built for banks, financial services and government bodies that need their mail to stay inside their own infrastructure.
The technology business grew out of running an ISP, and XgenPlus still behaves like one: built to stay up, to hold data inside a customer's own boundary, and to survive audit. That is why it is used by banks and by state governments rather than sold as a general-purpose inbox.
XgenPlus also supports Email Address Internationalisation (EAI), so an organisation can issue its people addresses in scripts other than Latin. Dr. Ajay Data, Data Group's Managing Director, chaired the Universal Acceptance Steering Group from 2019 to 2023, the first Asian to hold the role, and that standards work sits directly behind this feature. DataMail, also built by Data Xgen Technologies, is the free consumer expression of the same capability.
